ConnectSmart collects and enhances the region’s real-time transportation data and delivers it via a mobile application to inform commuters of travel conditions over various times, routes, and modes. By providing personalized travel suggestions to users and rewarding them for taking congestion-relieving options, ConnectSmart aims to help achieve regional goals of reducing congestion and associated emissions, improving safety, and increasing multimodal accessibility.
